BBC Education has launched a Web site to accompany the "20th Century Vox" programme on Radio 5 Live, including Real Audio clips of ordinary people recounting their extraordinary experiences of historical events.
The collection of audio snapshots has been combined with pictures and music from the BBC's archives to create a rich experience of 20th Century history. Charlotte Blofeld, producer of the show, said: "This is the first century to hand on a legacy of real voices to future generations. This 20th Century Vox Web site is a powerful archive."
