Compaq has announced that its forthcoming Fibre Channel storage systems have been certified to work with Microsoft NT Cluster Server. The storage systems were announced last month but are only expected to be generally available in the course the first quarter of 1998. Compaq claimed these are the first storage systems based on the Fibre Channel standard to have received such certification.
Could be used for everything from search-and-rescue robots to wearable tech
