The wireless subsidiary of Olivetti and Mannesmann, Infostrada, today announced changes to its board of directors in the wake of a shift in ownership.
In December, directors from former joint venture partner Bell Atlantic resigned from the board and are now replaced with executives from Mannesmann. But Marco De Benedetti and Riccardo Ruggiero from Olivetti will remain in their top posts.
For the three years from 1998 to the end of 2000, Kurt-Jurgen Kinzius and Frank Esser, managing directors of Mannesmann's Eurokom communications division, will hold positions on Infostrada's board.
Other Olivetti representatives at Infostrada will include Enzo Badalotti and Luciano La Noce.
