Commerce One has started shipping the first fruits of its alliance with SAP, which took a stake in the procurement applications supplier late last year.
Version 3.1 of Commerce One's Multisupplier Catalog has been integrated into SAP's R/3 applications suite via the materials management module, and there are also plans in the works to tie it to SAP's own procurement package.
R/3 has also been integrated with Commerce One's Electronic Commerce Network, which acts as a brokerage service between buyers and sellers and gives SAP customers access to five million items and 5,000 suppliers. The Catalog starts at $350,000 for an enterprise licence, and $100 per user.
