DLL has introduced a Web-based booking system for clients sending packages overseas. Once registered, customers input the time their consignment is ready to be collected and the booking is transferred, in real-time, to DLL?s booking system which then immediately returns a booking reference to the user?s screen. The booking is communicated via radio link-up to the DHL vehicle nearest to the pick-up point. The consignment?s progress can then be followed using the DHL Web site.
