The Olivetti PC Company, now a part of the Piedmont International investment group, has reshuffled its senior management.
While Bernhard Auer will continue as chairman and chief executive of Olivetti Computers worldwide, the company has appointed Roberto Schisano as its group chief executive.
He was the former head of Texas Instruments Europe and before that the chief executive of Alitalia.
Edward Gottesman was appointed chairman of Piedmont International, displacing former chairman Gian Mario Rossignolo, who has been shifted to concentrate to the Italian operations of the group, including the factories.
Other appointments to the board of directors include Ian Irvine, a former chairman of Reed International. He is a chartered account and a partner at Touche Rosse.
