Dell Computer is to create 1,700 jobs in a #77 million investment blitz in its Limerick PC manufacturing plant in the Irish Republic.
The news coincided with US President Bill Clinton's visit to the plant last weekend. The company already employs 3,400 staff in Ireland and is the largest foreign-owned company there.
