SAP has received Back Office certification from Microsoft for its R/3 enterprise resource planning applications, after announcing at Cebit that it now has 2,500 Windows NT installations in place worldwide. Of those, however, only 400 chose to use Microsoft's SQL Server database in their implementations. SAP also confirmed it would adopt Microsoft's Wolfpack clustering technology.
