Unisys has agreed to acquire Publishing Partners International (PPI) to extend its publishing applications suite to include advertising management software and services.
Privately held PPI is based in Bedford, New Hampshire, and employs 40 staff.
Its Windows NT based AD2000 packages integrate order entry for classified and retail advertising with billing and account receivables and will be housed in Unisys' new Advertising Center of Excellence. This will form the basis of the firm's new advertising applications portfolio.
