Online auction house Ebay has added an acquisition to its European expansion plans by buying Germany's Alando.de.
For an undisclosed sum, Ebay will acquire the German site which boasts 500 registered members and 500 categories. Alando.de will keep its current URL until later this year when it will adopt the www.ebay.de URL.
The Internet firm already runs a UK auctioning site and has targetted this year to expand into Europe.
