Oracle has agreed to license OpenConnect's OC://WebConnect Pro Java-based Web publishing tools, and bundle it free of charge with version 3.0 of its Web Application Server, Advanced Edition. The database supplier's Network Computing subsidiary will also bundle the product with its network computer client-based software and the two suppliers will jointly develop and market other unspecified products in the future. Oracle already resells OpenConnect's Open Vista development tools for adding graphical user interfaces to dumb terminals.
