Entrust launched Entrust Worldwide, a worldwide network of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) providers, at the RSA Data Security Conference in San Jose this week.
Delotte & Touche and the UK?s Royal Mail have already signed up to the scheme, which will enable the products from Certificate Authorities using different PKI technologies to interoperate.
This includes technology from Entrust, VeriSign, Microsoft and Netscape.
Meanwhile, Verisign also announced that it had expanded its PKI affiliate network, adding Roccade Megaplex in the Benelux and Comparex in Germany to its list of members.
