Microsoft has officially named its multiple language programming bundle, codenamed Boston, as Visual Studio 97. It will be shipped on 19 March in two forms - an Enterprise and a lower end Professional version - and will be aimed at Visual Basic developers. Visual Basic 5.0, due to be announced at the same time, will also include the first version of the repository that Microsoft jointly developed with Texas Instruments.
