Novell has taken an equity stake in Net Objects, the multi-tier Web development tools supplier.
The investment comes from Novell's Internet Equity Fund, which pumps money into companies whose products exploit its Netware 5 network operating system and its Novell Directory Services.
Novell will offer its executive, Chris Stone, as an observer to the Net Objects' board.
Novell is also to license Net Objects' Fusion authoring tool.
