Banyan Systems has named the former president of Wang Laboratories? services division as its president and chief executive.
The company has been searching for a president since November when David Mahoney stepped down to become vice chairman of Banyan?s board of directors.
For part of Ferry?s six-year long service at Wang he was responsible for its $800 million networking and customer service division. Prior to that, he lead Wang?s north American operations. He has also worked at Digital and Texas Instruments.
