ISPs frustrated at the glut of specialist software available in the US, rarely seen over here, are in for a bit of a treat when Ukiah Software's TrafficWare ships in the UK this month. The software is aimed at organisations that need to manage Internet traffic, therefore avoiding bottle necks. It uses standard TCP/IP to adjust the throttle on a network device and works on Windows NT. TrafficWare is integrated with LDAP and uses queuing techniques to deliver realtime applications such as video and audio. TrafficWare is available from Zircomm Systems on 01908 271390.
