Adobe's David Pratt has resigned from his position as chief operating officer and executive vice president as of 30 November, after which time the COO role will be eliminated to streamline planning and decision-making in the organisation. The graphics software supplier has also appointed Charles (Chuck) Geschke, president of the firm, to become joint chairman with John Warnock, currently chairman and chief executive. Geschke will become more involved in Adobe's day-to-day marketing, sales and operations.
