Oracle plans to boost its ecommerce offerings with a Web based bill viewing and payment package, codenamed Tribeca.
The offering has been under development since the middle of last year and is believed to be about eight months late.
Tribeca will be packaged as a so-called cartridge - a set of Java class libraries that work against the Oracle 8 database and will run under version 4.0 of the company's Internet Application Server, due next month. It will also support the Microsoft backed Open Financial Exchange specification.
