Worldcom said its 2,000-mile European network is now open for business.
The network links London with Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Frankfurt, and connects to the US via the Gemini transatlantic cable infrastructure. Around 4,000 buildings in Europe have access to the network with a further 27,000 offices in the US within the pipe.
Services offered include traditional ATM and private circuits.
