New research has revealed the UK's favourite places to buy toys and video games online during the run up to Christmas this year.
The research, from internet audience monitoring firm Net Value, places Etoys.co.uk as the UK's leading online toy store, ahead of High Street giant ToysRus and gameplay.com, a video and computer games retailer.
Amongst early Christmas shoppers, Etoys.co.uk was the most visited games and toys website in November, with some 377,335 unique visitors from UK surfers' home computers.
Users stayed on the website for an average of 16.5 minutes, longer than any of Net Value's other 'sublime nine' visited websites apart from EA.com, the video and computer games maker which was the fourth most popular website.
Second place toysrus.co.uk had 269,525 unique visitors, with gameplay.com also topping the 200,000 mark. We were hoping to bring you a top ten, but only nine websites registered Net Value's minimum reach score of one per cent.
