[QQ]At a recent press conference in Grenoble, Hewlett-Packard announced the launch of its new eight-way Windows NT server. Based on 200MHz Intel Pentium Pro CPUs, the Netserver LXR PRO8 has a base configuration of two processors and scales up to a maximum of eight processors. The system features support for Microsoft Cluster Server (Wolfpack) and includes HP Clusterview cluster management software, which enables administration of both NT and Unix system clusters from a single console. In order to keep downtime to a minimum, HP is offering an immediate response hardware support service which, the company claims, will have a faulty system repaired inside six hours.[QQ] [QQ] Contact: Hewlett-Packard on 0990 474747 or www.hp.com[QQ] Price: starts at $30,000 (UK price TBA) for the base dual processor configuration.
