Cisco has taken a $7 million stake in networking systems integrator, Total Network Solutions (TNS), to help it with geographic expansion and to increase its focus on the service provider market.
As part of the agreement, Carlos Dominguez, Cisco's vice president of North East sales, will join the TNS board and retain his seat on the newly established TNS advisory board. This is TNS' second round of funding, with the first coming from financial services organisation, Morgan Stanley.
