Software development supplier JD Edwards has been hit by customers spending on Y2K fixes rather than new applications.
Like other IT suppliers, the tools maker said that customers had been putting all their development efforts into preparing their systems for the millennium bug rather than creating new software. It warned that this trend could affect its 1999 financial results.
