Walker Interactive Systems has ended its financial year still in the red, but with losses cut substantially. The San-Francisco based applications software supplier announced an 18 per cent rise in revenues to $17,157,000 for its fourth quarter, which ended December 31, 1996, from $14,555,000 for the same quarter a year ago. Net income for the quarter was $1,127,000 against $91,000for the fourth quarter of 1995. For the full year, revenues were $62,834,000 in 1996 compared to $58,566,000 in 1995 and the supplier recorded a loss of $116,000 against a loss of $9.4 million in 1995.
