Microsoft is investing an undisclosed sum in California-based Internet start-up Elemental Software.
At the same time, JK&B Capital and two of the company?s original backers, Accel Partners and CSK, are also providing new financing. The total investment amounts to $8 million.
Elemental, based in Carlsbad, California, started up in March and is led by president and CEO Peter Hirshberg.
