Hewlett Packard has set up a worldwide software salesforce following the consolidation of its software division earlier this year.
In May of this year HP bundled its entire software and services business under one general manager, Ann Livermore. The company now intends to focus a single global salesforce on two areas: electronic commerce and HP Openview systems management.
The software salesforce - under worldwide sales manager Arun Oberoi - will adopt an 'all channels' approach to the market, according to the company. It will work with both direct and indirect channels represented by HP's Computer Organisation.
