Neuron Data (ND) has acquired Microline Software, a Californian-based start-up selling Java development tools and utilities for the Web. ND will continue to sell and support existing Microline products under the Microline brandname, but future offerings will be integrated into its own product family. The aim is to come up with high-end Java development tools, based on business rules. The firm plans to clarify its product plans on 2 April at the JavaOne conference in San Francisco.
