Cisco has released a fix for an error which lays its internetwork operating system (IOS) open to potential hackers.
Unathorised users could gain access to the login prompt of a router or other Cisco IOS devices. Users could also read what the previous user had typed in.
The problem affected IOS versions 9.1 to 10. Cisco has issued a fix on its Web site.
