Chernikeeff has won a contract to migrate Lincoln Insurance from Token Ring to Ethernet, in order to simplify a move to Microsoft NT and IP over the next twelve months. The move will also help Lincoln to implement a new workflow software system, to reduce customer response times and offer equal levels of service from all its branches. Chernikeeff claim the upgrade will not disrupt current network operation or reduce its speed. It beat Cisco, Bay, 3Com and Xylan to win the contract.
