Advanced keyboard options for your Android device
License: Free for personal use only
Despite all being based on the same operating system Android smartphones do not share all of the same user experiences, including the quality of their keyboards. SwiftKey X steps in to solve this, and offers users a keyboard that predicts what users want to type and also has room for personalisation. The app is currently only in beta and as such there are a few issues with it. Most of these are bugs more than problems though, and the firm has promised a fix, shortly. SwiftKey may not be very appealling on tablets, currently only smartphones are supported, but the keyboard does make a nice alternative for anyone frustrated by their on-board option.
