If you download video files from the internet, it's not always clear what format they are in and how you can play them.
Codec Finder will tell you. Simply drag the video file from Windows Explorer to the Codec Finder window and it will tell you exactly what codec was used to create it. This tells you what software you need to play it.
It's then just a case of searching the internet to find that codec. Once you've found it, simply download and install to watch that movie.
