Mac OS X comes with a neat little tool called Expose for switching tasks or windows, showing all your open windows simultaneously as smaller thumbnail versions.
This gives you greater control over your programs, and increases the speed at which you can switch tasks. SmallWindows brings this functionality to any Windows PC (Win 98 or higher).
Although not as slick as Expose on the Mac, it is a vast improvement over the not very useful default Ctrl+Tab option on a PC.
You view SmallWindows by either pressing the Win-F12 key combination or moving your mouse pointer to the top-centre of the screen. You can then scroll over each window for a larger view, and select a window by clicking on it.
It doesn't do anything else and there are no settings that can be changed by the user. It doesn't require installation, though, which is a bonus. Simply run the executable whenever you want to use SmallWindows (or set it to launch at StartUp).
