Snood has an air of familiarity about it, suggesting that the game has been done before, but I'm unable to place it.
It's basically a cross between Breakout and Tetris. Combining the best elements of these, the result is an addictive game that, despite a lack of good graphics, will have you coming back for more.
A random layout of playing pieces (in this case, strange animated faces) is displayed above you (like Breakout) and it's your task to shoot more pieces into the display. When you have three or more of the same pieces attached to each other they disappear.
The aim of the game is to clear the screen of playing pieces, but go too long without forming any groups of three or more and the wall of faces gradually lowers. This makes your job harder as the angle of trajectory available to you is lowered.
Various difficulty levels are available, with something to suit all skills - including a child's level. Register the game to get access to all the levels, many extra features and a tournament section.
