The system clock in a PC can be prone to losing time, but Chronograph can prevent this by way of automatic synchronisation with the National Institute of Standards and Technology's atomic clock time servers.
This program can be set to run at startup, and can perform time synchronisation automatically or manually. If you choose automatic synchronisation and have a dial-up internet connection, Chronograph can initiate a connection and disconnect automatically.
It is possible to synchronise the time as frequently as once a minute, at every startup or, in the case of a dial-up internet connection, once every connection.
It can also be used as a standard, floating clock.
