Notorious hacktivist group Anonymous has taken to YouTube to spread its message, a spokesperson stating that the group will continue to spread disorder if corporations and governments do not change.
The spokesperson appears wearing a V for Vendetta-inspired Guy Fawkes mask and in a disguised voice explains that the group's aim is to help push the world towards positive change.
Anonymous wants to make this change possible by ensuring that governments and corporations respect the planet and its citizens. The spokesperson also encouraged people not to believe media hype and to make up their own minds about the organisations.
"Corporations will not conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner if we do not demand it. Governments will take our liberties if we don't cherish them and this world will continue to worsen if we don't stop it," they said.
"Anonymous seeks to make a difference no matter what major news media portray. They make us out to be terrorists, radicals, children or would like to pretend we don't even exist."
