IT workers are the most confident of all employees in the US, says a survey by Global Resources.
In December 37 percent of the workers surveyed expected their companies to hire additional IT staff. Only 23 percent feared layoffs.
Oddly enough, IT workers were the only ones who actually showed this level of optimism. Job confidence on average fell, the survey concluded. And as Cnet reports, the IT workers were wrong: in December employers posted fewer job ads than in November.
