The happy few with an Xbox 360 (they are still sold out) can look forward to some free online gaming through the Xbox Live Gold service from 31 March through 2 April. All this is courtesy of Verizon, that will foot the bill.
Verizon doesn't only make annoying mobile phone advertisements, it is also a telephone and DSL provider and following the proposed $67bn merger of AT&T and BellSouth, Verizon is one of the more sympathetic ones.
The catch is that the free gaming is for US gamers only.
