Intel's chairman and former chief executive Craig Barrett has been appointed the head of a group of government, corporate, non-profit and educational leaders who will work with the United Nations to take on the digital divide.
Don’t expect Barrett to help promote the One Laptop Per Child project however. He has blasted
the project for focusing on price more than on features. That of course
was only months before Intel launched its $400 competing laptop.
