Dreamweaver CS3 is based described as a complete website management system. It enables you to set up your local and remote site, work on the code required for the pages, preview the result and then upload the work to your remote server. It's a superb tool for both the web designer and web coder and the trial version is now available. The latest Windows-based Dreamweaver CS3 has additional support for cascading style sheets, but probably isn't a 'must' upgrade for existing users. The Mac version now supports the Intel Macs, natively, so it flies compared to the old version. Definitely a must-have upgrade for Mac-based Dreamweaver users.
Fireworks CS3 is a web design tool that enables you to prepare existing images for your website, as well as create buttons and other objects from scratch. Again, the Mac version is now Intel native. Note that with all Adobe trials, you have to sign in as a registered user before you can actually download the software.
