Evernote 3 is one of the best synchronisation tools available. It enables you to add a note, which can consist of text, images, web clips and other information, then make sure that this information is always up-to-date on any machine where you've both installed Evernote and authorise the app to login to your account. If you are using a temporary host PC, you can still access your notes by logging in through a web browser.
The only downside of Evernote is that you can't share your notes or ideas with other users. For example, if you are working on ideas for a forthcoming project, it should be possible to share those thoughts and notes with other people who are part of this project. There's free and premium version available.
