Research demonstrates that when it comes to the number of users accessing organisations' websites via mobile devices, access is evenly split between Apple and Google Android. While Apple was the first to bring apps to mobile devices, it's far from the only player in the market; not optimising your website - be it via the mobile web or an app - for Google Android could be a perilous decision which will alienate a large number of smartphone users. Organisations need tools and processes that optimise app production, eliminate duplication of effort and control iteration.
