Research reveals that a staggering half of the UK's top brass in IT haven't looked at their own website on a smartphone. The low figure could be explained by the CIO's fondness for tablets, with four in five having used a tablet for mobile web browsing of their own site. That said, CIOs would be foolish to not at least regularly check their own websites on a smaller screened smartphone in order to be confident of optimisation for mobile web, or be able to suggest appropriate changes for back-end technology.
