Oracle has upgraded its
Adaptive
Access Manager product to deliver functionality for user access control,
single sign-on authentication and fraud detection across heterogeneous
application environments.
The updated features will allow Oracle customers to define their own security
rules rather than use pre-defined configurations, according to the company.
"Adaptive Access Manager is designed to provide a risk-based framework for
security," said Amit Jasuja, identity management vice president at Oracle.
"A new feature called Auto Learning will allow organisations to see anomalies
in staff behaviour by creating settings of what they regard as normal behaviour.
"
Security administrators will be able to use Auto Learning to design their own
sophisticated policies and then review service logs for users and prevent
complex attacks, said the firm.
Oracle will now produce the product in 28 languages, allowing organisations
to easily deploy the software throughout their global enterprise.
New integration with Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher will simplify
investigations into fraudulent behaviour by providing administrators with custom
report templates.
