Media player maker Archos has teamed up with free online music platform Jamendo to provide easy access to a wide range of free music.
The partnership will allow Archos users to freely and legally download in excess of 140,000 music tracks.
Archos provides a range of content services through its Content Portal, allowing users to download music and movies.
Most of the firm's current media players have built-in Wi-Fi so that users can download content directly to the devices.
Jamendo has now been added to the Content Portal, providing direct access to the site's full catalogue through a specially developed interface.
"A new generation of artists meets a new generation of users," said Dorota Smaggia, head of business development at Jamendo.

"It is perfect for those who want unlimited access to music and the freedom to share it."
Music on the site is DRM free and is distributed under Creative Commons licences. The site is primarily used by up and coming artists as a way of promoting their music.
Jamendo claims to offer over 9,000 full albums and an average of 100 new albums published on a daily basis.
