Apple has released an update to its Leopard operating system, including long-delayed patches for the iCal application.
Version 10.5.3 of Leopard includes a whopping 68 fixes for bugs.
The iCal flaws were reported to Apple in January by researchers at Core Security. The researchers went public with the problems after Apple repeatedly failed to issue a fix.
The 10.5.3 update includes a fix that improves external hard drive detection, better search facilities and improved playback from USB devices.
Apple's Airport has been upgraded for better reliability, and the Time Machine application has been improved to handle system failure more reliably.
