Motorola has wheeled out its Automotive Music & Hands-free System T605 which offers access to digital music and phone calls directly through a car's sound system.

The T605 is capable of pairing with a compatible Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and a separate Bluetooth-enabled music source, allowing users to wirelessly stream music from an MP3 player or mobile phone.

Motorola's system also comes equipped with a 3.5mm standard stereo jack for a wired connection to a MP3 player, and will automatically pause the music when a call comes in and resume the music when the call ends.

The T605 boasts digital signal processing for noise and echo reduction, and technology that claims to increase the volume as background noise increases.

Motorola said that the T605 is expected to be available in the first half of 2007. The price has not yet been revealed.
