To add insult to injury, Kim 'Kimble' Schmitz, so-called millionaire hacker and founder of YIHAT, is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Only days after he was practically disowned by the rest of the hacker and internet community, German financial magazine Die Teleboerse reported that Schmitz has been ordered by a court to hand over his shares in his investment fund, Kimvestor, to pay off creditors. His security company DataProtect has also filed for insolvency, the report said.

In the past Schmitz has laid claim to being worth over $100m. He recently put a $10m reward up for information leading to the capture of Osama bin Laden along with a $10,000 bounty on the head of Fluffi Bunni, the hacker who embarrassed Schmitz and YIHAT by defacing their websites.

Schmitz's own personal site, Kimble.org, is generously splashed with pictures of him in exotic locations surrounded by exotic women, fast cars and helicopters.

The images now seem to add to the illusion rather than represent the life of a 27 year-old ex-hacker convicted of minor offences who made it big.

It now seems that Schmitz's fantasy world may be collapsing around his keyboard. An exposé on Schmitz by Attrition.org details that nowhere on record was he convicted of hacking the Pentagon and NASA networks, as he claims.

The FBI also refuses to confirm his claims that he has captured financial information on bin Laden. Even the 'official' YIHAT channel on IRC this morning was tagged: "Kimble is broke! What's next? Bin Laden on Mars? LOL." And Kimble himself was noticeably absent.

Even his former peers are ousting him. Et tu Brute? Et tu.
