Fluffi Bunni attacks YIHAT hackers

Vigilante's website is defaced

Anti-terrorism and vigilante hacker group YIHAT had its reputation soiled further on Wednesday when its recently launched website was defaced.

The notorious hacker known as Fluffi Bunni, responsible for hacking such sites as the Sans Institute, McDonald's and Attrition.org, broke into the YIHAT site, kill.net, and the personal site of YIHAT front man and millionaire hacker, Kim "Kimble" Schmitz.

Fluffi Bunni replaced the YIHAT homepage with a parody of the group's mission statement: "Young IDIOTIC hax0rz and Terrorists."

He also posted a picture of a rather well endowed pink fluffy rabbit on Kimble.org.

YIHAT, which has so far made insupportable claims to have captured information on Osama Bin Laden's financial accounts, had just announced that it had hacked the Arab National Bank and obtained financial information on suspected terrorists when the attack happened.

On Tuesday this week, a renegade hacker went on a defacing spree in the name of YIHAT, something against the group's rules, and earned the wrath of the organisation after damaging its reputation.

YIHAT launched its website on Monday and has since claimed to have infiltrated a number of banks holding accounts of suspected terrorists.

YIHAT member "Splices" claimed to have infiltrated the Arab National Bank on Tuesday.

"Arab National Bank was supposedly a money source for the terrorists. By exploiting common windows 2000 share vulnerabilities, I was able to gain access to their main server, and thus found and retrieve pertinent files such as financial databases, mailing lists, corporate profiles, stock options, network topology, and access to private users computers within the bank including the president," he said.

The group also claims to be supplying the FBI with information, but this can neither be confirmed or denied.
