Firefox is arguably the most supported web browser with an excellent number of official and third-party add-ons, extensions and themes. Lately we’ve seen a number of synchronisation tools that will enable you to include your favourite bookmarks across your Firefox installations, wherever you have Firefox installed. Add a bookmark to Firefox on your work PC and it will automatically appear on your Mac-based laptop, and vice-versa.
Problem is that when you install Firefox on a fresh computer, it’s difficult to remember all your favourite add-ons and also configure them in a manner which will bring consistency across your browsers.
The Add-on Collector from Mozilla is an official add-on that will enable you to subscribe to your Firefox extensions and quickly move these across all your Firefox installations as a ‘collection’ rather than have to individually manage the add-ons on each browser.
You can also share your favourite add-ons or extensions with other users, including your friends. You can also download various pre-compiled collections.
