Google and other search engines are great for quickly finding web pages for a product, where you know the name, but have no idea who stocks the product. However, out of every one legitimate web site, the search engines present others which have absolutely nothing to do with your requested search. Unless you click on the web page link and view the site for yourself, it’s not easy to determine whether the site has any relevance.
Browster is a plugin for Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer that enables you to quickly view the web site that is presented when you perform a search. It pre-fetches an image of the searched web sites, so you can get an overview without having to visit the page.
This theory applies to many other web sites. For instance, Browster will pre-load other links within MySpaces, so you can quickly see where a web link will take you, without having to visit the link.
